AWAKEN YOUR INTENSITY
It’s not every day you get to play around with dragons. Especially at night. But that’s exactly what we got to do on this project launching the new Takis Flavor, Dragon Sweet Chili. Getting this project off the ground was truly a team effort, with multiple voices pitching in to create this intense spot. Check it out.
so what did Matt do?
As I mentioned, team effort.
I was the CD that led the ideation and presentation of the idea.
I wrote the line, “Awaken Your Intensity” as well as how to describe the flavor to viewers.
”SWEET BITE with a FEROCIOUS KICK” won out.
The one thing I was really proud of on this one was how the supers were treated.
The swirling, swooshing in the wake of dragon’s flight made for an awesome moment—while functionally elevating the RTBs
Additionally, I wrote / directed the social posts for the campaign
These had a roaring response, too.
This Dragon was such a tease.
Keeping something like a dragon under wraps is a tricky deal, but we did it. To create some buzz, we teased the release of Takis Intense Dragon with a very simple animation and one simple word, “Soon.” The post took fire, igniting viewer appetites and leading them to want more… and that’s what they got! The look and feel for dragon still lives on to this day.
